FULCRUM UNDERNEATH BOOM

By installing an extra fulcrum under the digger arm, the lifting cylinders are positioned underneath the boom. This results in a higher reach and, within the demolition range of the machine, a greater lifting force. Having the excavator arm automatically positioned higher offers the additional advantage of being able to load/unload in closer proximity to the machine. The boom does not have to be positioned as high, which has a positive effect on the machine’s fuel consumption. The additional fulcrum can be mounted on any machine. On machines of approx. 25-35 tons, and considering a total length of 17 metres, an extra fulcrum results in a 6% higher reach.
